Harris County MUD 23 contracts with the Harris County Sheriffs Department for Deputies providing onsite rolling patrols. You can expect to see a Deputy patrolling day or night. In case of an emergency, you can call the Sheriffs Department and mention you are a resident of MUD 23 with a contracted patrol.
As a benefit, if you are going on vacation or leaving for an extended period of time, you can visit the Sheriff’s website for vacation watch at the following link: https://apps.harriscountyso.org/Programs/programs_VacationWatch.aspx for the Deputies to keep an eye on your home while you are away. It is an added level of comfort included with the Sheriff contract.
